Paraguay’s President Santiago Peña will visit Uzbekistan from December 11 to 13 to discuss practical cooperation in agriculture.
During his stay in Tashkent, he is scheduled to hold high-level talks to explore opportunities for strengthening Uzbek-Paraguayan cooperation in politics, trade, economy, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
The discussions will also focus on practical collaboration in food and chemical industries, digitalization, tourism, and sports. President Peña will also attend the General Assembly of the International Automobile Federation and the awards ceremony for championship winners under its auspices.
Officials expect the visit to boost bilateral ties and open new avenues for economic and cultural cooperation between the two nations.
