A delegation of Uzbek civil servants has been introduced to Azerbaijan’s internationally recognized ASAN Xidmet public service model as part of a study visit focused on government innovation and citizen services.
A presentation on the activities and achievements of ASAN Xidmet was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan, The Caspian Post reports via the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Participants were informed that the ASAN Xidmet model has been exported to more than 30 countries, reflecting its growing international reputation as a benchmark for modern, citizen-centered public services.
Delegation Visits Key Innovation Centers
The Uzbek guests, who are visiting Azerbaijan at the invitation of the Academy of Public Administration, also toured several institutions operating under the ASAN ecosystem.
The delegation visited an ASAN Xidmet center, the INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center, the Mobile ASAN service, the ABAD public legal entity, and the Bilim Bakı educational center.
The visits provided participants with firsthand insight into Azerbaijan’s approach to digital governance, public service delivery, entrepreneurship support, and social innovation.
ASAN Model Already Active in Uzbekistan
Azerbaijan’s ASAN Xidmet brand has already been successfully adapted in Uzbekistan, where more than 200 public service centers currently operate based on the Azerbaijani model.
The initiative has become one of the most notable examples of cooperation between the two countries in the field of public administration reform and government services.
