Uzbek President, Jordan’s King Abdullah II Hold Official Talks in Samarkand

King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The visit officially began on August 26 in Samarkand with a ceremonial welcome at the Congress Center. A guard of honor was assembled to greet the distinguished guest, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

President Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed King Abdullah II and invited him to the podium. The national anthems of both countries were performed by a military orchestra. Following the anthems, the two leaders inspected the guard of honor and exchanged greetings with members of the official delegations.
