Uzbekistan, Israel Boost Trade and Investment Cooperation

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, has met with Gideon Lustig, Israel’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, to discuss the development of bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation.

During the talks, both sides highlighted the positive growth of Uzbek-Israeli trade and emphasized the potential for further expansion and diversification, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

A key focus was on strengthening direct contacts between business communities and enhancing practical collaboration between sector-specific organizations.

Priority topics included attracting investment, expanding industrial cooperation, implementing joint projects, and creating conditions for the long-term participation of Israeli companies in Uzbekistan’s economy.

The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming their mutual interest in deepening practical cooperation and continuing constructive engagement on key areas of the bilateral agenda, paving the way for stronger economic ties between Uzbekistan and Israel.
