Uzbekistan’s Consulate General, together with China's Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Association, has held a major presentation highlighting the country’s growing pharmaceutical industry and the opportunities within the Tashkent Pharma Park.
The event brought together executives from more than 20 leading pharmaceutical companies from Jiangsu, including producers of medicines, biotech products, medical equipment, and contract manufacturers, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Participants learned about Uzbekistan’s favorable investment climate - from state support measures and tax incentives to opportunities for localizing advanced technologies and accessing national industrial programs.
A key focus was the Tashkent Pharma Park, which offers modern infrastructure, strong logistics, a fast-track “one-stop shop” system for investors, and export-oriented industrial zones designed for high-tech production.
Jiangsu companies expressed strong interest in expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan and signaled readiness to pursue long-term partnerships in pharmaceuticals, biopharma, medical technology, and healthcare innovation.
Following the meeting, both sides agreed to organize a visit by Jiangsu pharmaceutical representatives to Uzbekistan early next year to explore infrastructure and discuss specific investment projects.
