Tashkent Tourism Fair Marks Milestone with First China Pavilion

The 30th Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TXTY-2025) has wrapped up in Uzbekistan’s capital, marking a major milestone for one of Central Asia’s biggest tourism events, and featuring China’s national pavilion for the first time.

The three-day fair, organized by Uzbekistan’s Tourism Committee, the National PR Center, and Interforum, took place at the CAEx International Exhibition Complex and once again served as a key platform for strengthening global business ties and showcasing the country’s growing tourism potential, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

This year’s anniversary edition featured new travel routes, regional attractions, and innovative projects aimed at boosting Uzbekistan’s tourism sector. More than 100 accredited media outlets covered the event, helping raise the country’s international visibility.

First launched in 1995, the Tashkent International Tourism Fair remains the largest industry event in Central Asia. Its main mission is to highlight Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities, support industry development, and expand cooperation with global partners.

TXTY-2025 drew more than 15,000 visitors, including representatives from 72 countries such as France, Germany, Japan, the UK, and the Netherlands. Over 100 domestic and international organizations exhibited across 44 stands, while thousands of business-to-business (B2B) meetings resulted in numerous partnership agreements.

The “Hosted Buyers” program gathered 10 international and over 30 local companies, concluding with more than 50 signed contracts.

The fair also featured a rich program of events, including panel discussions, workshops, the “Uzairo” International Aviation Forum, the “Delicious Uzbekistan” food festival, a handicrafts exhibition, the Tourism Education Forum, Global Tourism Media Campus activities, the “Tabarruk Ziyorat” international media tour, an ethno-games festival, the Central Asia-EU forum, and a meeting held under Uzbekistan’s chairmanship of the OIC Tourism Ministers' Conference.

At the closing ceremony, organizers announced that the fair will return next year for its 31st edition, with participants receiving commemorative souvenirs.
