Direct air service between Tashkent and Mauritius will launch for the first time on December 26, 2026, marking a new step in tourism cooperation between Uzbekistan and the island nation.

Ahead of the launch, representatives from the tourism industries of Uzbekistan and Mauritius held an open bilateral dialogue at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Tashkent, UzA reports.

The event was organized by Uzbekistan’s Prestige Travel in cooperation with the Tourism Committee and brought together representatives of leading Mauritian tourism companies and hotel brands, along with Uzbek tour operators.

During the meeting, participants discussed opportunities to expand tourism cooperation, develop joint projects and create new tourism products aimed at attracting more travelers between the two countries.
