Azerbaijan has supplied more than 36 tons of electrical equipment to Ukraine’s Kyiv region to support the restoration of energy infrastructure.

The equipment was transferred from the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy’s central warehouses to key infrastructure facilities across the region, The Caspian Post reports, citing the ministry.

The supplies are expected to help speed up repair and restoration works at energy facilities.

“We express our gratitude to Azerbaijan for supporting Ukraine’s energy sector!” the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy said.
