Uzbekistan, Qatar Strengthen Ties in Education and Culture

Uzbek First Deputy Foreign Minister Bakhromjon Aloev has met with Qatar’s Minister of Education and Higher Education Lolwah Rashid Mohammed Al-Khater to discuss strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation in the field of education.

The talks also focused on expanding collaboration in science, and culture, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to fostering stronger academic and cultural exchange, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Minister Al-Khater praised the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, held in Samarkand, describing it as “a major event not only for Uzbekistan but for the entire Muslim world.”

She also commended Uzbekistan’s historic contribution to Islamic civilization and expressed Qatar’s readiness to cooperate in preserving and promoting the scientific and spiritual heritage of Imam al-Bukhari for future generations.
