Two major Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conferences, organized by IT Park Uzbekistan, have been held in Beijing and Shanghai, bringing together Chinese tech leaders to strengthen international cooperation and showcase Uzbekistan’s growing investment and technology potential.
The conferences brought together over 70 representatives from 42 top Chinese companies in artificial intelligence, business process outsourcing (BPO), GameDev, IT, and fintech, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Among the participants were major global brands such as Xiaomi, Baidu, YONYOU, and PayerMax, along with other technology firms exploring opportunities to expand into Central Asia.
The forums were led by Jahongir Rajabov, Business Development Director at IT Park Uzbekistan, who presented the country’s IT ecosystem development strategy and emphasized the importance of strong digital partnerships with China.
One of the keynote speakers, Guo Jing, Sales Director at Renrui Human Resources, shared his company’s experience of successfully launching operations in Uzbekistan. He noted that registration and setup took just one month, highlighting Uzbekistan’s multilingual and skilled talent pool as a key factor for growth in the BPO sector.
Another speaker, Yuri Karp, Regional Director at BIPO, praised Uzbekistan’s favorable business climate, government support for IT companies, competitive investment conditions, and high-quality human resources. He underlined that Uzbekistan is becoming a reliable hub for global companies seeking to expand their presence in Central Asia.
Following the conferences, the parties agreed to organize a visit by a Chinese tech delegation to Uzbekistan, where participants will explore IT Park infrastructure, meet with local startups and specialists, and assess the country’s innovation ecosystem. The visit will mark an important milestone in strengthening bilateral cooperation and pave the way for new investment and educational projects.
The events in Beijing and Shanghai have become a key platform for deepening collaboration between IT Park Uzbekistan and leading Chinese tech companies, fostering knowledge exchange and promoting the development of the region’s digital economy.
