In 2024, more than 1 million 745 thousand 200 foreign tourists visited the ancient city, and tourist exports amounted to $435.3 million, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

In addition, Bukhara has received more than 4 million tourists from various regions of the country.

17 hotels, 15 hostels, and 42 family hotels were launched last year to increase the city’s tourist potential. In addition, 43 travel agencies have been launched and the total number of tour operators in the region has reached 186.
