Uzbekistan Shuts Down Eight Illegal Drug Labs in Two Months

Uzbek authorities dismantled eight illegal drug laboratories during the first two months of 2026, following targeted law enforcement operations.

The Agency for Control over Narcotics and Firearms under the President of Uzbekistan confirmed that the operations also prevented 375 kg of narcotics, psychotropic, and potent substances from entering the illegal market, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Among the seized drugs, hashish accounted for 42% (146 kg) and marijuana made up 33% (113 kg), representing the largest shares of confiscated substances.
