Representatives of Uzbekistan’s Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency have signed a cooperation memorandum with South Korea’s K-NBIRT during a working visit to the country.
The agreement aims to expand scientific and technological collaboration, support innovative biotech and pharmaceutical projects, and enhance professional training, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Under the partnership, the two sides will exchange research, launch joint scientific projects, develop technology transfer initiatives, and organize training programs for specialists. They will also work to strengthen laboratory infrastructure and share advanced expertise.
Officials noted that the memorandum creates a solid platform for boosting scientific cooperation, improving workforce development, and accelerating innovation in Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
