Uzbekistan, South Korea to Focus on Clean Energy and Investment

Tashkent will host the second Uzbekistan-Korea International Energy Forum titled “Energy Value Networks Forum” from June 30 to July 1, bringing together government officials, representatives of energy companies, investors, and international experts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.

Organized with the support of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Energy, the forum is jointly initiated by Korea Western Power and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), The Caspian Post reports via UzDaily.

The event is expected to serve as a key platform for expanding the strategic energy partnership between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea while promoting long-term collaboration and new investment opportunities.

Discussions will focus on the deployment of advanced energy technologies, the development of renewable energy, improving energy efficiency, and increasing investment cooperation through the launch of new joint projects in Uzbekistan.
