The Mining Armenia Forum 2025, an international conference focused on the mining industry, began on October 3 in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia, gathering government officials, experts, and industry leaders.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan delivered remarks at the forum, The Caspian Post reports citing Armenpress.
The Armenian Ministry of Economy and the Association of Miners and Metallurgists of Armenia signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) during the forum.
This year’s conference is held under the theme “Mining and Energy: International Trends and Armenia’s Potential.”
More than 250 representatives from investment companies, the private sector, expert circles, and government agencies are participating in the event.
Leading experts from Armenia, Canada, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Russia, the U.S., Belarus, and the UAE are taking part in panel discussions and other events.
The main topics of discussion include: mining as a source of new energy; investment opportunities and global economic trends; the current state and future prospects of Armenia's mining industry; sustainable development and societal trends in the mining sector; as well as sustainable development as a result of technological advancement. The role of technologies in mining and beyond, along with other related topics, will also be addressed.
