Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday held a meeting with Moldovan President Maia Sandu on the sidelines of the Paris Peace Forum in the French capital.
PM Pashinyan congratulated President Sandu on the occasion of her recent victory in the presidential elections, wishing her further success in advancing Moldova's democratic development agenda, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a readout, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.
President Sandu congratulated Prime Minister Pashinyan for the agreements reached in Washington on August 8.
PM Pashinyan and President Sandu discussed “prospects for the development of Armenia-Moldova bilateral relations, as well as issues related to the advancement of democratic reforms and regional security.” They reaffirmed the importance of mutual support in international platforms and their readiness to expand cooperation.
Pashinyan and Sandu emphasized the importance of continuous and constructive dialogue.
