Armenia is not yet convinced it needs to appoint a new special representative for normalizing relations with Türkiye, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has said.
Mirzoyan noted that the border between the two countries could reopen before Yerevan and Ankara agree on candidates for new negotiators, according to Sputnik Armenia.
He said the normalization process had already made significant progress and that a final settlement could be reached at any time. Armenia and Türkiye maintain contact almost daily, he added.
Mirzoyan also announced that an Armenian-Turkish business forum is expected to take place in Armenia in the near future.
