A 23-year-old Armenian serviceman was found dead on a farm outside his military unit, with Armenian media reporting that a note was discovered near his body.

The soldier, identified as Artak Kh., was reportedly found in a barn by a relative. A note was found nearby containing an apology and a statement expressing that he no longer wanted to live, according to Alpha News.

There were no visible signs of violence on the serviceman’s body.

Armenia’s Defense Ministry previously confirmed the soldier’s death, stating that the incident occurred outside the territory of a military unit. The ministry said the serviceman was found dead on a farm.

The circumstances surrounding the death are being investigated.
