Around 5,000 residents of Nizami and Khoilu villages in Azerbaijan’s Goranboy district have been evacuated after a fire broke out at an ammunition depot overnight.

According to preliminary information, residents were evacuated from both villages as a precaution following the incident, according to Report.

A checkpoint has also been established at the entrance to Nizami village, with access to the area restricted.
