Azerbaijan has added a number of Turkish citizens to its list of undesirable people, barring them from entering the country.
The decision was made in response to statements circulated on social media and internet platforms that it said targeted Azerbaijan’s sovereignty, national security, constitutional order, people and leadership, according to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
According to the ministry, the statements also included calls aimed at forcibly changing the government and inciting violence based on religious radicalism, religious hatred and hostility.
“Azerbaijan will continue to take appropriate measures in response to hostile actions,” the Foreign Ministry said.
