Azerbaijan-Brazil Inter-Ministerial Talks Focus on Cooperation and Global Agenda

The Brazilian Foreign Ministry has announced that the fifth round of Azerbaijan-Brazil inter-ministerial political consultations was held in Brasília, where both sides discussed key issues on the bilateral, regional, and global agenda.

The talks were part of an official visit to Brasília by an Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov, The Caspian Post reports via the ministry.

On the Brazilian side, the consultations were headed by Maria Laura da Rocha, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry.

During the discussions, both sides emphasized the long-standing diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Brazil, which have lasted for over three decades.

The consultations highlighted tourism, education, and inter-parliamentary relations as priority areas for further cooperation.

Following the consultations, Mammadov held bilateral talks with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira to strengthen ties and explore new opportunities for collaboration between the two countries.
