The Serbian capital Belgrade is hosting a high-level commemorative meeting marking the 65th anniversary of the first conference of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

Azerbaijan is represented at the event, held at the Palace of Serbia, by Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova, according to Report.

Gafarova is leading Azerbaijan’s delegation, with the country being part of the NAM Presidential Troika.

Participants at the meeting are discussing the historical legacy of the Non-Aligned Movement, its core principles and its role in the modern international relations system.
