ADA University and the Ethiopian Institute of Foreign Affairs have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at expanding academic and institutional cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ethiopia.
The signing ceremony at the Ethiopian Institute of Foreign Affairs was attended by Azerbaijan’s Parliament Speaker Sahiba Gafarova, Ethiopian government and state officials, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the academic community, international relations scholars and students, the Azerbaijani parliament reports.
Gafarova highlighted the successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and Ethiopia, both bilaterally and through international organizations.
She also pointed to the successful implementation of Azerbaijan’s ASAN Service model in Ethiopia through MESOB service centers, describing it as an example of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
“Partnership based on trust, knowledge and experience sharing is the foundation for joint development and sustainable progress.
ADA University, one of Azerbaijan’s leading universities, under the leadership of Rector Hafiz Pashayev, makes a significant contribution to the development of international academic ties,” Gafarova said.
She added that the newly signed memorandum between ADA University and the Ethiopian Institute of Foreign Affairs would help expand cooperation in science and education while further strengthening friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Ethiopia.
