Azerbaijan Recalls Ambassador to Sweden and Three Other Nordic Countries

Azerbaijan has recalled Zaur Ahmadov from his position as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a corresponding order, Report informed.

Under another presidential order, Elnur Sultanov was appointed Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Sweden.

Sultanov has served as Azerbaijan's ambassador to Latvia since 2021.
