A delegation led by Anar Baghirov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Bar Association, has visited the Azerbaijan Embassy in Romania during their official visit.
Ambassador Gudsi Osmanov highlighted the dynamic development of bilateral relations in recent years and stressed the importance of legal cooperation between Baku and Bucharest, The Caspian Post reports via the Azerbaijan Bar Association.
He expressed readiness to expand ties with the Azerbaijan Bar Association and provide support in this area.
Baghirov thanked the ambassador for the invitation, emphasizing that the main goal of the visit is to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in legal practice. He outlined ongoing reforms in Azerbaijan’s judicial system, continuous development of legal practice, and noted that the foundations of independent advocacy were established by national leader Heydar Aliyev. Baghirov also highlighted the role of the Constitution of independent Azerbaijan in building a legal state.
The meeting included an exchange of views on topics of mutual interest, and concluded with Baghirov presenting the embassy with the official emblem of the Azerbaijan Bar Association and a collectible copy of the Constitution.
