Azerbaijan’s Qarabağ FC is set to play a decisive match on August 27 in the UEFA Champions League playoff round, as the country hosts Hungary’s Ferencvárosi in Baku.
In the first leg held in Hungary, Qarabağ FC claimed a 3:1 victory, giving the Azerbaijani champions a solid advantage heading into the return fixture, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
The second leg will take place at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 20:45 (GMT+4). The match will be officiated by French referee Clément Turpin.
The winner over two legs will progress to the prestigious UEFA Champions League group stage, while the defeated side will continue their European campaign in the UEFA Europa League group stage.
