Azerbaijan, Switzerland Sign Agreement to Boost Cooperation in Metrology

The Azerbaijan Institute of Metrology (AzMI) under the State Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control Service and the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at expanding scientific and technical collaboration between the two institutions.

The agreement provides for the exchange of theoretical and practical expertise, enhancement of measurement accuracy, and the implementation of joint research and innovation projects designed to strengthen long-term partnership ties, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

In addition, the document envisions the organization of seminars, training sessions, and other joint activities in the areas of legal and industrial metrology, promoting greater knowledge sharing and institutional development in the field.
