Azerbaijan Takes Part in CIS Interior Ministers’ Meeting in Astana

A meeting focused on combating organized crime was held in Astana, bringing together the heads of operational departments from the Interior Ministries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Representatives from the Interior Ministries of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan delivered reports at the meeting, The Caspian Post reports citing Azertac.

Discussions focused on measures to curb illegal arms trafficking, enhance the exchange of operational information, and combat criminal groups.
