A meeting between Rector of Azerbaijan Medical University Garay Garaybayli and Rector of Yozgat Bozok University Evren Yaşar has highlighted growing academic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
During the talks, Garaybayli underlined ongoing efforts to strengthen educational links between the two brotherly countries and pointed to further opportunities for collaboration between their universities, The Caspian Post reports via Azertac.
Evren Yaşar, in turn, emphasized the strong partnership between Azerbaijani and Turkish higher education institutions and expressed interest in deepening academic ties.
The sides discussed cooperation in scientific research, education, and innovation, including student and faculty exchange programs, joint scientific projects, conferences, and symposia, as well as the sharing of advanced medical practices.
Following the meeting, the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding cooperation in joint research, modern teaching methods, and innovative medical technologies.
The agreement also provides for the development of joint curricula, expanded exchange programs, and new professional training opportunities.
The MoU is expected to strengthen knowledge exchange, improve the quality of medical education, and support the training of highly qualified healthcare specialists in the region.
