Azerbaijan, UAE Explore Joint Projects, Energy Partnership Prospects

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov held a meeting with UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber in an online format.

The parties emphasized that the partnership relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE are successfully developing, The Caspian Post reports, citing Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy.

They noted that the “Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Arab Emirates,” signed this July as part of the working visit of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev to the UAE, would play an essential role in facilitating trade and strengthening economic cooperation.

The two also discussed ongoing joint projects, partnership in the energy sector, mutual investments, and prospects for developing cooperation.
