Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have held discussions on potential partnerships in the energy sector.
“We held a video conference with Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates,” The Caspian Post reports via Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov’s message on X.

“During the discussions, we underscored the strong and successful partnership between our countries. We also reviewed jointly implemented projects, ongoing cooperation in the energy sector, mutual investments, and prospects for further deepening collaboration,” the message says.
Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) maintain strong political and economic relations, underpinned by growing cooperation in trade, energy, and investment. The UAE is one of Azerbaijan’s key partners in the Gulf region, with bilateral trade covering energy resources, construction, agriculture, and tourism. Emirati companies have been actively involved in renewable energy projects in Azerbaijan, including solar and wind power initiatives. Both countries also collaborate through multilateral platforms, strengthening their partnership in pursuit of regional development and sustainable growth.
