Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom signed four cooperation documents during the eighth meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation in Baku.
One of the documents was a cooperation agreement between PMD Group LLC and Chapman Taylor on the development of the Northern Gates Baku multifunctional residential and business complex, according to Report.
InterOcean Energy Services and Green Lines Shipping LLC also signed a framework cooperation agreement that does not involve equity participation or the creation of a joint venture. The document was signed by InterOcean Group Commercial Director Alex Clark and Green Line Shipping CEO Renat Rzayev.
Another memorandum of understanding was signed between Xlinks Limited and Green Line Shipping LLC. It was signed by Xlinks CEO James Humphrey and Green Line Shipping CEO Renat Rzayev.
The fourth document was a memorandum of understanding between Xlinks Limited and the Green Corridor Alliance.
The meeting also resulted in the adoption of an action plan for 2026-2027, covering more than 60 measures across 10 areas.
In addition, the sides signed the protocol of the commission’s meeting. The document was signed by Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and UK Minister of State for Trade at the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade Lord Anas Sarwar.
