Azerbaijan Urges Nationals to Leave Iran

Amid the escalating situation in Iran, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry has advised Azerbaijani citizens to refrain from traveling to the country.

In a statement, the ministry also called on those currently in Iran to leave through Azerbaijan or Türkiye and urged all citizens to strictly observe safety precautions, The Caspian Post reports.

“We also urge our citizens to observe safety measures, stay away from crowded places, follow the instructions of local authorities, and monitor official sources of information.

In any emergency situation, our citizens can contact the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran and the Consulate General in Tabriz,” the statement said.
