Azerbaijan Welcomes Leading Pakistani Tour Operators for Tourism Showcase

The Azerbaijan Tourism Board, part of the State Tourism Agency, in collaboration with the Pakistan International Exhibition for Travel and Tourism (Pakistan Travel Mart), organized a familiarization trip to Azerbaijan for representatives of 10 leading Pakistani travel companies.

The travel companies were introduced to a wide range of tourism offerings highlighting Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage, natural landscapes, and historical sites, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

The program also featured B2B (business-to-business) meetings with approximately 50 local companies, providing a platform to discuss potential partnerships, tourism exchange, and joint initiatives.

Direct flights from Lahore and Islamabad currently connect Pakistan and Azerbaijan, facilitating travel between the two countries. From January to July 2025, more than 46,000 Pakistani tourists visited Azerbaijan, a 16 per cent increase compared to the same period last year, reflecting growing interest in the country as a travel destination.
