On May 13, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke by phone with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi.

During the phone conversation, the sides discussed bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, the current regional situation, progress in the negotiation process in this context, as well as prospects for a diplomatic and political settlement of the situation concerning Iran, The Caspian Post reports, citing AZERTAC.

Abbas Araghchi provided detailed information on the ongoing negotiation process.

Jeyhun Bayramov underscored Azerbaijan’s support for efforts to resolve the conflict through peace and negotiations.

The ministers also exchanged views on other bilateral, regional, and international issues of mutual concern.
