Azerbaijani Leader Welcomes Top UAE Business Leaders

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has met with Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Chairman of UAE company 2PointZero, along with executives from International Holdings and International Resources Holding.

Sheikh Zayed conveyed greetings from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and highlighted the UAE’s plans to strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan across all sectors. He praised the long-term successful partnership between the two nations, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

President Aliyev thanked Sheikh Zayed and recalled the UAE president’s visit to Azerbaijan and Karabakh in September, noting that relations have reached the level of a strategic partnership. President Aliyev emphasized strong political ties, economic cooperation, and mutual support, with a focus on renewable energy, oil and gas, investment, IT, and mining.

The sides also discussed opportunities to expand collaboration in energy infrastructure, trade, and technology, underlining the significance of Azerbaijan-UAE ties for the wider region.
