Baku Launches New Direct Flights to Moldova as FLYONE Opens Chișinău Route

Travel between Azerbaijan and Moldova has become easier with the launch of a new direct air route between Baku and Chișinău, operated by Moldovan low-cost airline FLYONE.

The inaugural flight on the new route landed in Baku on July 16, 2026, marking the official start of regular direct services, The Caspian Post reports via Sputnik Azerbaijan.

FLYONE will operate flights on the Chișinău-Baku-Chișinău route three times a week, with departures scheduled on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

The addition of FLYONE to Baku's growing list of international carriers further expands the route network of Heydar Aliyev International Airport and strengthens air connectivity between the two countries.

The new service is expected to boost passenger traffic, facilitate tourism and business travel, and enhance economic and cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Moldova.

Passengers can find flight schedules, ticket information, and other travel services through FLYONE's official sales channels.
