Germany's newly appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Dirk Lölke, has officially arrived in Baku and assumed his diplomatic duties, marking the start of a new chapter in bilateral relations between the two countries.

Lölke expressed his commitment to strengthening ties during his tenure, The Caspian Post reports via the message of the German Embassy in Azerbaijan on Facebook.

The ambassador said he was looking forward to contributing to the further development of the Germany-Azerbaijan relations in the coming years and expanding cooperation between the two countries in politics, economy, and culture.
