Haber Global presenter Dilara Sayan has said that the close ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are deeply reflected in the social life of both countries, while Turkish media plays an important role in strengthening their friendship.
Speaking on the sidelines of the International Media Forum in Tashkent, Dilara said Haber Global closely follows developments in both Azerbaijan and Türkiye in real time, according to Report.
“Whatever happens in Azerbaijan, we promptly report it as breaking news. The same approach applies to events in Türkiye,” she said.
Dilara noted that Azerbaijan and Türkiye can no longer be viewed simply as two separate countries.
“We are brothers. Every step we take, every step Azerbaijan takes, and every voice that is heard receives a huge response in both countries,” the presenter said.
She emphasized that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye is expanding across various fields, with close interaction also established in the media sector.
“Especially recently, this interaction has intensified. Establishing a strong communication channel is of great importance,” Dilara said.
She described the media as a key link between the societies of the two countries.
“Media has always been a bridge between the two countries. We are two brotherly states that are very good at building this bridge,” the Haber Global representative added.
Commenting on the International Media Forum in Tashkent, Dilara highlighted its importance in exploring and promoting Uzbekistan’s history and Islamic heritage.
“Uzbekistan holds a very important place in world and Islamic history. The gathering here of prominent journalists and representatives of leading media groups is highly significant,” she said.
Dilara also stressed the need to tell global audiences more about Uzbekistan’s rich historical heritage and the work being carried out in the country to study and preserve it.
