Israeli Diplomats Explore Collaboration with Azerbaijan University of Languages

Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ronen Krausz and Deputy Ambassador Aviv Zell have visited the Azerbaijan University of Languages, where they met with university leadership to discuss academic collaboration and joint initiatives.

“Ambassador Ronen Krausz and Deputy Chief of Mission Aviv Zell visited the Azerbaijan University of Languages, where they met with university leadership for an open exchange on academic cooperation and joint initiatives,” The Caspian Post informs via the message of the Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan on X.

“The discussions touched upon the activities of the university and the Israel & Middle East Research Center, which the Ambassador and DCM also had the opportunity to visit. The meeting reflected the shared commitment to fostering dialogue, knowledge, and partnerships in the academic sphere,” the message says.

Azerbaijan and Israel maintain a strong and multifaceted relationship that has grown steadily since Azerbaijan gained independence in 1991. The two countries have established robust diplomatic, economic, and military ties, underpinned by mutual strategic interests.

Azerbaijan and Israel collaborate in such areas as energy, defense, technology, and agriculture. Israel is a key partner for Azerbaijan in military technology and cybersecurity, while Azerbaijan supplies Israel with oil and gas.
