Azerbaijani beekeeper Ruslan Mustafayev has said that a branch of the store “Kalbajar Honey, Beekeeping and Beekeeping Products - Balland” is set to open in Baku.
Mustafayev noted that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s 2021 visit to the farm of beekeeper Sabir Mustafayev in Kalbajar provided strong encouragement both for him and other local producers, The Caspian Post informs via local media.
"The main goal of opening the ‘Kalbajar Honey, Beekeeping and Beekeeping Products - Balland’ store is to support young beekeepers coming to Kalbajar. Currently, we sell our products online in Baku, but in the future, we plan to open a physical store in the capital as well," he said.
He emphasized that there are over 450 types of plants worldwide suitable for honey production, and more than 200 of them grow in Kalbajar: “This gives Kalbajar honey its special and distinctive flavor.”
