A new cruise service connecting Moscow and Baku is expected to launch in the near future, offering passengers a 14-day journey aboard a luxury cruise ship.

The announcement was made by Adam Khakimov, Russia’s Trade Representative in Azerbaijan, according to TASS.

Khakimov said that the round trip will take approximately 14 days, with seven days allocated for each direction.

He noted that the project is being implemented with government support, including subsidies from Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade.

"One ship is already ready, while two more are on their way. If the project proves successful, we hope these two ships will also sail to Baku," Khakimov said.

The initiative is expected to expand cruise tourism links between Russia and Azerbaijan and offer travelers a new way to visit the two countries.
