Over 2.1 Million Russians, Ukrainians Arrive in Azerbaijan Since March 2022

The Azerbaijani State Statistical Committee has announced that from March 2022 to July 2025, 2,176,436 citizens from Russia and Ukraine have arrived in Azerbaijan.

Of the total, 2,067,278 were Russian citizens and 109,158 were Ukrainian citizens, The Caspian Post informs via the State Statistical Committee.

In the first half of 2025 alone, 314,549 Russians and 17,138 Ukrainians entered Azerbaijan.

The significant influx of arrivals follows the start of the Russia-Ukraine war on February 24, 2022, reflecting ongoing regional migration trends.
