Fire Erupts at Laplandia Shopping Center in Russia's Kemerovo, Evacuations Underway

A fire has broken out at the Laplandia shopping center in Russia’s Kemerovo city, prompting authorities to evacuate employees and visitors from the building.

The blaze originated on the facade of the shopping center and has been classified as a level two fire in terms of severity, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.

Emergency services have dispatched nine fire trucks to the scene, and Kemerovo Region Governor Ilya Seredyuk has arrived to monitor the situation and coordinate the response.

No casualties have been reported so far.
