Turkish President: Karabakh - Forever Azerbaijan!

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has declared, "Karabakh is forever Azerbaijan!" during his recent visit to honor Azerbaijani martyrs.

President Erdoğan paid solemn tribute to the Azerbaijani martyrs who lost their lives in defense of their nation’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. In a message shared on social media to mark Remembrance Day, President Erdoğan honored the fallen and reaffirmed Türkiye’s strong ties and unwavering support for Azerbaijan, The Caspian Post informs via local media.

“On Remembrance Day observed in our friend and brother country Azerbaijan, I honor the memory of the martyrs with respect and express my gratitude to the veterans who demonstrated heroism in liberating Karabakh and other occupied territories of Azerbaijan. Karabakh is forever Azerbaijan!” he wrote.

Remembrance Day is observed annually in Azerbaijan on September 27 to honor those who sacrificed their lives during the Second Karabakh War. The Turkish leader’s message reflects the deepening strategic partnership and cultural solidarity between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
