Turkish Prosecutor Emphasizes Knowledge Exchange with Azerbaijan

Prosecutor of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Turkish Supreme Court Ahmet Gökay Aktaş has announced that Türkiye places high importance on its cooperation with Azerbaijan’s judicial authorities and emphasizes the exchange of knowledge and expertise.

He made the remarks during the international conference “National Leader Heydar Aliyev - Author of the Constitution of Independent Azerbaijan” in Azerbaijan’s Lachin city, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

Aktaş stressed that the rule of law, protection of fundamental rights, and separation of powers are the cornerstones of modern constitutions.

"The 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s Constitution is a significant event not only for Azerbaijan but also for us as a brotherly nation. The Turkish Prosecutor’s Office prioritizes sharing experience with judicial bodies of friendly states, particularly Azerbaijan. Our shared legal culture, similar approaches in constitutional law, and mutual trust create a solid foundation for strengthening this cooperation," he noted.
