Azerbaijan's Culture Minister Speaks at UNAOC Group of Friends Meeting

The UNAOC Group of Friends High-Level Meeting took place on December 14 during the 11th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) in Riyadh.

In his remarks, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli provided information about the historically established atmosphere of tolerance in the country and emphasized the role of promoting intercultural dialogue, protecting multicultural values, and cultural diplomacy in advancing international cooperation, The Caspian Post reports citing AZERTAC.

Expressing appreciation for Saudi Arabia's excellent hosting of the event, Adil Karimli described UNAOC as a landmark international platform for fostering global dialogue and mutual understanding.

The Azerbaijani minister also emphasized the initiatives implemented by Azerbaijan to promote interfaith dialogue through cooperation with UNAOC.
