Azerbaijan Takes Part in 13th International Culinary Culture Festival in Vietnam

The 13th International Culinary Culture Festival was held in Hanoi, organized by Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The opening ceremony of the festival was attended by Ngo Phuong Ly, spouse of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam, state and government officials, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Vietnam, representatives of regions, non-governmental organizations and media outlets, The Caspian Post reports citing local media.

During the festival, the Azerbaijani stand showcased national souvenirs of the country, historical visits of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to Vietnam in 1983 and Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh to Baku in 1959, as well as photos and other materials reflecting the meeting of To Lam with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his state visit to Baku in May of this year.

The participants and guests of the festival enjoyed delicious samples of Azerbaijani cuisine (qutab, dolma, pilaf, various types of kebabs and Azerbaijani tea).

Students from Hanoi College of Trade and Tourism, a partner of the embassy at the festival, supported the Azerbaijani pavilion's activities.
