Tajikistan Hosts Belarusian Culture Days

The line-up of the Days of Belarusian Cinema in Tajikistan includes the feature film "The Black Castle", the documentary film "Dream of the Champion" and the animated film "Sirin's Song".

The Days of Culture of Belarus began in Tajikistan on November 24, according to the Belarusian Culture Ministry, The Caspian Post reports citing BelTA.

The line-up of the Days of Belarusian Cinema in Tajikistan includes the feature film "The Black Castle", the documentary film "Dream of the Champion" and the animated film "Sirin's Song".

Moreover, the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature and the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War put together the literary and documentary exhibition "With the Blood of the Heart"on 25 November. The exhibition was named after the book of poems written by Belarusian poets who died during the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition narrates the life of the natives of Tajikistan: participants of the partisan movement in Belarus Mumin Alimzhanov, Djura Raimzhanov, Mamajan Tairov, front-line soldiers who participated in the liberation of Belarus in 1944, prisoners of war who died in Stalag 352 in Belarus and whose names were inscribed in the book "Eternal Memory to You, Sons of the Soviet People".

The Sadriddin Ayni Opera and Ballet Theater of Tajikistan hosted the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture and a gala concert of Belarusian artists. It featured performances of the State Academic Dance Company of Belarus, the Gennady Tsitovich National Academic Folk Music Choir of Belarus, the Pure Voice vocal group, the Neba Sound bayanist duet, soloists of the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus and a soloist of the Belarusian State Academic Honored Dance Company Khoroshki.
