Uzbek Culture Takes Center Stage in Europe

The "Sharq Sadolari" Song and Dance Ensemble, part of the Department of Culture of Tashkent's Yakkasaray district, proudly represented Uzbekistan at the prestigious 44th Extremadura International Folk Festival in Badajoz, Spain.

“First of all, we would like to thank the international groups from Ireland, Portugal, Taiwan, and Uzbekistan for their artistic and human qualities. It is a blessing to have partners from such distant parts of the world despite the challenges and to enjoy their culture here in Badajoz”, writes the official social media pages of the festival, The Caspian Post reports citing Uzbek media.

The “Sharq Sadolari” ensemble once again showcased its unique mastery in performing national songs and dances on the global stage, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
